Blended Course Implementation

I have created a blended course for an 8th grade U.S. History class, which means that this 6 week course blends face-to-face instruction with online learning and an element of student control over content and pacing. My goal in this course was to effectively address the TEKS for the Reconstruction Unit while also allowing students an opportunity to connect and apply what they have learned to their own communities. I designed my course using Fink's 3 Column Table, which does an excellent job of ensuring that learning goals, activities and assessments are all aligned as well as making sure that learning goes beyond just a foundational understanding. The course was created in google classroom, so if you would like to look at individual activities and lessons, I invite you to join my google classroom and explore the course! Below I have included a video that gives an overview of my course and how
