Blended Learning is a strategy that can work for any subject at any level. I have been building my innovation plan around blended learning, and I know every teacher in my middle school can use these models to fit their curriculum to increase student engagement and learning. Yet like anything of value, it cannot be learned and mastered in a traditional "sit and get" training, which I spoke about in an earlier post about the need for effective professional development.  This is why I have created a professional development training that will give teachers the resources, time and support to learn, apply, and plan blended learning units for their classroom, all while receiving support and feedforward throughout the entire school year while they work to implement their blended learning lessons. I have provided the 3 Column Table as well as an outline and schedule for the professional development.
